Chipeta Core Values

At Chipeta Elementary, our community is guided by the values we believe in and practice every day. Chipeta Cares reflects our commitment to cooperation by working together in positive and productive ways, acceptance of others by embracing and celebrating our differences, and respect by living out the Golden Rule in all we do. We foster an eagerness to learn, encouraging every student to come curious and ready to grow. We strive to be safe learners who make positive choices, show respect through our words and actions, and take responsibility for our learning and behavior. These core values are actively taught and modeled by our united staff, and students are recognized and celebrated each month through school-wide assemblies and displays for demonstrating what it means to truly care. At Chipeta, caring isn’t just something we say—it’s something we live.
